The Local Harvest Guide
Connecting communities with local seasonal food
A project website made for bringing people closer to their food and the farmers that make it possible. Use this site to find seasonal products and practical tools for sustainable eating.
Our Story
We like fresh produce just as much as you do! The Local Harvest Guide helps you easily find local food nearby. Through an interactive map, you can find farm shops, farmers' markets, vending machines and pop-up stalls from local farmers. To support your journey in sustainable eating, you can check out the seasonal produce calendar, plant-based recipes, and practical sustainability tips.
Why Local?
Low environmental impact
Local food usually travels shorter distances and needs less packaging, thus lowering the environmental footprint of your meals.
Seasonal = fresher
Local produce is often harvested more recently, helping preserve freshness, flavour and nutritional value.
Support local farmers
Buying local supports farmers in your area and helps strengthen regional food networks and local economies.
